Run along the south shore of Lake Simcoe through the quiet communities of Georgina on this flat, fast and scenic 5km, Half Marathon and Boston Qualifier Marathon course. BOTH the 1/2 marathon and full marathon courses are measured and Athletics Canada Certified - which means they are accurate and are qualifiers for things such as the New York and Boston Marathon's. You will be running from De La Salle Park, along Lake Drive North on an out and back along a quiet road with lots of shade and views of stunning properties. And, get ready to have FUN! Hits 105.5 FM will be on site playing music along the race course and cheering stations will be set up along the route for FUN and MOTIVATION! Oh - and watch for our Alligator mascot along the course cheering you on!
In 2021 we had more athletes qualify for the Boston Marathon per capita than any other race in the GTA!
Georgina is an hour North of Toronto along the 404, making it a central location for athletes from the GTA, Golden Horseshoe and Cottage Country.

Both the Marathon and Half Marathon courses are Athletics Canada certified courses, measured by Peter Pimm.
Aid stations will be located every 2.5-3km throughout the course.
Marathon start: 7:30am
Half Marathon start: 7:45am
5km start: 8:00am
SPARK nutrition will be the official nutrition on course.
All finishers will receive a custom Georgina Marathon T-Shirt and finishers medal as well as a swag bag from our race sponsors.

Thursday Sept 8 at 5pm-7pm: Toronto, ON at Matrix Fitness 1650 Yonge Street
Saturday Sept 10 at 2pm-6pm in Georgina at the athlete expo - The Briar's Resort and Spa
Race Morning 6:00am-7:30am at De La Salle Park
Please pick your kit up early if at all possible, to avoid stress on race morning.
Cancelation policy: No cancellations or refunds. If there is a government or public health order that causes the event to be canceled due to COVID-19 you will have the option of doing the race as a virtual event OR deferral to next years event. Transfers between distances or to another runners are allowed and can be done though the "transfer" link on our race roster page. There will be a $5.00 administration fee for transfer.
Weather Policy:
Safety always comes first and Athletics Ontario sets rules and policies that outline when an event must be delayed or cancelled due to inclement weather. In the case of inclement weather that forces our race directors to cancel an event, there will be no refunds. In the case of a weather cancellation, by that time a large portion of the race fee's have already been allocated. Registered participants will still receive your swag bag and race shirt. Thank you for understanding these policies.
