My Story…
Hello dear family & friends! Thx kindly for offering to support this absolutely necessary fundraising event!
Having been diagnosed 2 weeks after my 60th (Nov/21). after a colonoscopy, was blessed to have the colon surgery Dec.23/21, where I had 12 inches of colon and my appendix removed (best Christmas gift for my family and I). All of your love, prayers, encouragement & assistance, have helped me find an amazing strength I never knew was there! As Eleanor Roosevelt said. "You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do". My new life towards better found health and wellness, mentally and physically, inside and out, began late in 2021 and now , will continue to be bouncing forward in 2022 !
With this cancer being early Stage 3 diagnosis, Chemotherapy commences Feb.28.22. ( every three weeks for almost 4 months) and I know God has it in His hands. PLEASE - be proactive about your health, ask questions and DO NOT WAIT! Get tested, even if there is no history of cancer in your family! Let's help others too, by contributing to more research and aid. Health is wealth!
