My Story…
Dear family and friends,
Thank you for clicking on my fundraising page.
As many of you know, cancer has touched my family several times. Breast cancer is a threat that looms ever closer; many of us remember when it was one in 9 women who were expected to be diagnosed, where it is now one in 8. We are learning more and more about the environmental causes that are at the basis of many cancers.
The MBCC has done wonderful work, focusing especially on education and environmental advocacy for breast cancer prevention.
I would be very grateful if you would pledge any amount for my swim.
