University of South Dakota Dance Team Bio

The USD Dance team is so excited to be participating in this year’s event, and to help support this cause! The team consists of 13 Dancers. One junior, (Piper), five sophomores (Alexa, Kendra, Maddie, Rachel, and Whitney), and seven freshmen (Ava, Brooklynn, Kate, Katelyn, Natalie, Olivia, and Vitoria). They have spent the 2021-22 school year cheering at USD Football, Volleyball, and Men’s and Women’s Basketball games, as well as preparing for their first in-person appearance at UDA College Nationals in Disney World. They love to jam out to Olivia Rodrigo to get themselves hyped up before a performance, and come from all over the country and world! From Brazil, Texas, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota, the different backgrounds of everyone on this team brings them even closer together.
