Kick Start Dance

KickStart, our focus is less on technique and more about being confident in your own skin and fun expression. We are a nontraditional dance studio whose main objective is to give children the opportunity to learn a choreographed routine that’s taught in an easygoing atmosphere, which they then have the opportunity to perform for the community. We stress to families and children to know that they don’t need to be a professional dancer or even dancing from a young age to be able to participate in a dance setting with their peers. 

KickStart is an alternative for children who purely want to dance, just to dance. We want our team to be just that; a team no matter the ages. We accomplish this goal by having activities and events that are outside our normal practice days, such as overnight lock-ins at the studio, trash clean ups in our downtown area, and community held dances. KickStart strives to be an outlet for children and families in our Yankton and surrounding communities.
