Ronald McDonald House Charities® of New England (RMHC NE) provides a tremendous, comprehensive and supportive network of resources to children and their families through Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms and Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles. With your help, we can bring greater capacity to serve children facing all pediatric illnesses at Boston’s children hospitals, Rhode Island’s children hospitals and other medical facilities throughout New England.
Each year hundreds of families travel to New England from locations all over the world to give their child access to the best medical care. In doing so, they face enormous hurdles such as navigating the complexities of the health care system, extraordinarily high local housing costs, and excessive emotional and physical stress. At the Ronald McDonald House Charities of New England we remove the stress of daily living and support families to enable them to focus on what really matters: their child’s health and healing.
On August 21, 2022 Team RMHCNE will hit the pavement to race the historic 7 mile course, while raising critical funds to support the Ronald McDonald House in Providence and the Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor.
This past year has shown us all the importance of health and family. Despite the pandemic, parents continued to go the distance to ensure their child has access the world’s best medical care, here in New England. This year Team RMHCNE will work together to provide over 900 nights of housing, comfort and support for families of critically ill children. Together, we can reduce the stress associated with financial strain so families can focus on the health of their children
