My Story…
The grief and the sadness our community experienced after William's death was overwhelming. It was as if a shade had been permanently put over the sun. It was difficult to find the right words, to know how to comfort one another, or to find a path forward. Coming together to form "William's Be Yourself Challenge" gave us a sense of purpose. It created a space for William's friends to remember him, honor his life, and challenge ourselves to live by his words: "Be Yourself." We are running the Falmouth Road Race as a team of people committed to keeping alive the spirit of this very special boy. For all of us who loved William, this is our way of showing he is still with us. We remember him in our hearts forever. Thank you for your support.
