My Story…
My 22 year old daughter, Isabel, has autism and intellectual disability. Her favorite things include listening to music, backrubs, snacks, and walks to the playground. Isabel struggles with communication and with everyday tasks, but she's a hard worker and loves being with her family and teachers.
The ARC truly makes a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. They provide Early Intervention services as well as programs for school-aged kids. They also provide much needed adult services for this often under-served and vulnerable population.
