My Story…
As most of you know, I was diagnosed with T1D unexpectedly in the fall of 2018. Although shocking and in many ways heartbreaking, over the past few years I've been able to pick up the pieces and adjust to this significantly new lifestyle thanks mostly to my personal support system, including the handful of fellow T1D's who didn't hesitate to reach out their hands and show me the way.
That is why this year, I am dedicating my run to my fellow Diabetics. The Joslin Center is an invaluable resource for our community, and now more than ever they need all the funding and support they can get. The work that they do gives our community a better shot at not just living, but thriving, despite the obstacles we face.
I'm humbly grateful for any and all contributions to this cause, and look forward to representing Team Joslin and the T1D community this August! Thank you.
