My Story…

Hello everyone!

I am running the Falmouth Road Race once again this year. This race has been a family tradition since the early 1980's when I would cheer on my grandpa, aunt, and uncles from the sidelines in my stroller. As Falmouth residents, my grandparents even had the honor of hosting 2 elite Kenyan runners for several years. (That's me in the corner and behind my Nana is Gabriel Kamau) The memories of this magical event stayed with me all this time and when I got back into running again in my late 30's I knew this race had to be on my bucket list. I had such a great time running it the first time I decided to do it again and again.

While I will not be finishing this race as quickly as Gabriel Kamau did in 1983, I will be giving my best effort in support of Team Spina Bifida of New England.  SPNE is non-profit organization which provides education, support, awareness, and advocacy for people with Spina Bifida.

Please consider donating, any amount is appreciated! If you are in town I will see you at the finish line.

Many Thanks,

Jaime

Description

I am proud to be running the 50th Annual Falmouth Road Race this year in support of the Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England.  This tiny, but mighty, organization does incredible work providing resources, advocacy, education, and community for individuals and families living with Spina Bifida in all 6 New England states.  It has made a huge impact on me and my family, and I greatly appreciate your generous support!
