My Story…
Gio was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy when he was just 4 months old. It is a fatal muscle wasting disease that currently has no cure. Today he is 2 and fighting with the most determination I have ever seen in a single human. This year I am choosing to use my muscles in a way that Gio will never be able to by participating in the Falmouth Road Race and raising funds for the Jett Foundation.
The Jett Foundation has been such a huge support to our family while navigating this new life. No child or family should ever have to fight this horrible diagnosis. Finding Jett has made the journey much easier to navigate and much less lonely. They provide so much to the Duchenne community. To name a few; educational webinars, welcome packets, funds to help families for emergencies as well as accessible vehicles, summer camps, support groups and a large community of some of the most incredible people I have ever met.

Thank you for supporting me in the 50th Falmouth Road Race, where I will be raising funds for Jett Foundation.
Jett Foundation extends and enriches the lives of individuals affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular disorders.
They fulfill this mission by partnering with individuals and families through empowering educational programming, transformational direct service experiences, and by accelerating development of life-changing treatments.
Go! for Duchenne events, such as the Falmouth Road Race, encourage families and friends to activate their muscles in support of Jett Foundation and the work we do to provide enriching programs for individuals and families impacted by neuromuscular disorders.
