Commercial fishing has shaped my character and identity, just as it has that of Cape Cod. In order for our local, small-boat fleet to thrive, we need the Fishermen’s Alliance to represent fishermen’s interests in policy and management, and through community outreach and engagement.
As a fisherman, I see firsthand how important the Fishermen's Alliance small business support, policy engagement, and programs are to our coastal community. As a staff member of Fishermen's Alliance, I work on the Small Boats, Big Taste program as well as training the next generation of commercial fishermen through the Fishermen Training Program. Thank you for donating to support these important programs!

The Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen's Alliance engages the local fishing community in building lasting solutions to protect the ocean ecosystem and the future of Cape Cod's small-boat fishing fleet.
Founded in 1991 by the local fishing fleet, the Fishermen's Alliance is a nationally-recognized nonprofit organization and the leading voice for commercial fishermen on Cape Cod.
Fishermen's Alliance stands for:
- A Healthy Ocean Environment: We advocate for healthy oceans to ensure sustainable and successful fishing businesses.
- Fishermen Driving Science: Fishermen partner with scientists to conduct research to inform sensible and forward-looking fishing regulations.
- Economic Development: We invest in fisheries to provide opportunities for both today's fishermen and future generations to build their businesses.
- Community: We bring fishermen and our community together to create connections that support the local fishing industry and its value to the community.
- Sustainable Solutions: We believe a healthy marine environment is essential to the success and sustainability of Cape Cod's economy. Fishermen's Alliance is taking action now to make sure there will be a future for fish and fishermen.
