I am proud & honored to run the 2022 Falmouth Road Race for the 3rd consecutive year as part of the Tommy’s Place Team. It is extra special this year as it is the 50th Anniversary of the Falmouth Road Race and means so much that Tommy's Place is named in honor of the race founder Tommy Leonard. Tommy's Place is a charity started by Tim O Connell & friends, renovating a former Inn to an incredible vacation home located in Falmouth, MA. It was only an idea and broke ground when I first ran for Tommy’s Place. The home was specifically made to allow families and friends for children fighting cancer to get away from the hospital for a week and spend a much-deserved vacation down in Falmouth. Each family has their own week to come and enjoy their family and friends. Tommy's Place has now housed over 100 kids and will continue to be an incredible lift to those that need it most. And the amazing news is that there will be another Tommy's Place opening in 2022! I’m so excited to be fundraising for a such an incredible organization and running to benefit a great cause. There is a room at Tommy's Place dedicated to our late Quincy friend Liesl Radzik who’s life touched so many with her kindness & ‘Because Nice Matters’ mantra 🥰. Running in Liesl’s honor & for all those battling & affected by childhood cancers. Any donation, no matter how small, helps. Thank you so much in advance for your support!!

Tommy's Place is OPEN!
"Tommy's Place" is a magical vacation home for kids fighting cancer. The home, located in Falmouth on Cape Cod, is a place to relax, make memories, and most importantly have fun! To ensure privacy, one family at a time will stay in the home for up to a week, free of charge. The house has enough room for the immediate family, extended family, as well as any friends and caregivers that are all part of the support system. For these children and their families, one of the most important aspects of dealing with cancer is having a supportive community. “It takes a village” is especially true when dealing with childhood cancer. "Tommy's Place" is an HGTV Dream Home/Disney like experience with individually designed and decorated rooms, an inground swimming pool, game room, home theatre and tavern, music and arts and crafts rooms and so much more!!!
Since opening in July of 2021 Tommy's Place has served more than 40 families and is fully booked through 2022!
