My Story…
I am excited to announce I will again be running for the Tommy's Place team in the 2022 Falmouth Road Race! After running on the team last year, my admiration for the mission of Tommy's Place and the organization itself has only grown deeper. Tommy's Place is an organization which allows children fighting cancer, their families, and friends to enjoy a free vacation in Falmouth, MA. The beautiful Tommy's Place home welcomes a handful of children and their families all year long. The home is the perfect getaway from the hospital and allows these families to enjoy a getaway vacation in Falmouth, MA. I will be running in honor of my dad, Kevin Hannon, who passed away unexpectedly this past November. For those who knew my father, you know that he would be thrilled at the opportunity to help out another family in need; particularly those going through difficult times. Please help to make this year's run another memorable and successful event - I appreciate all of your support!

Tommy's Place is OPEN!
"Tommy's Place" is a magical vacation home for kids fighting cancer. The home, located in Falmouth on Cape Cod, is a place to relax, make memories, and most importantly have fun! To ensure privacy, one family at a time will stay in the home for up to a week, free of charge. The house has enough room for the immediate family, extended family, as well as any friends and caregivers that are all part of the support system. For these children and their families, one of the most important aspects of dealing with cancer is having a supportive community. “It takes a village” is especially true when dealing with childhood cancer. "Tommy's Place" is an HGTV Dream Home/Disney like experience with individually designed and decorated rooms, an inground swimming pool, game room, home theatre and tavern, music and arts and crafts rooms and so much more!!!
Since opening in July of 2021 Tommy's Place has served more than 40 families and is fully booked through 2022!
