My Story…
When you ask my kids about Tommy’s Place their eyes light up. When I told Maggie I was setting up a fundraiser page and needed her to say something about her time there she said, “I thought It was amazing because every door you open there is something new. I wish I could have slept in every room. It made me feel like this is it my brother doesn’t have cancer anymore-I just know it. We could finally just be our family not our family with cancer.” Our family needed a severe reset after battling a second brain cancer diagnosis with Quinnie-Tommy’s Place did that for us.
At Tommy’s Place weather doesn’t matter, cancer doesn’t exist…just family and friends making much needed memories. We are so grateful to Tim O’Connell for giving us those memories and the reason I (Quinnie’s Mom) and Quinnie’s Uncle Stevie are running the Falmouth Road Race to pay it forward and keep it going for “next families” as we call them.

Tommy's Place is OPEN!
"Tommy's Place" is a magical vacation home for kids fighting cancer. The home, located in Falmouth on Cape Cod, is a place to relax, make memories, and most importantly have fun! To ensure privacy, one family at a time will stay in the home for up to a week, free of charge. The house has enough room for the immediate family, extended family, as well as any friends and caregivers that are all part of the support system. For these children and their families, one of the most important aspects of dealing with cancer is having a supportive community. “It takes a village” is especially true when dealing with childhood cancer. "Tommy's Place" is an HGTV Dream Home/Disney like experience with individually designed and decorated rooms, an inground swimming pool, game room, home theatre and tavern, music and arts and crafts rooms and so much more!!!
Since opening in July of 2021 Tommy's Place has served more than 40 families and is fully booked through 2022!
