Welcome to my 2022 ASICS Falmouth Road Race Page!
On August 21st I will be participating in the Falmouth Road race wearing a bib for the National Brain Tumor Society. I will be running in honor of my sister Tracey to do whatever small part I can to raise money and awareness to help benefit the NBTS community. In November of 2016 I lost my sister to a Glioblastoma brain tumor. Tracey was my only sibling, my friend "my person" this really means so much to me to get out there, do my best and do what I can to help bring awareness and support this cause.
I will be the first to say I am by no means a "runner" but get out there as much as I can with a walk/run strategy. So for me this 7 miles will be considered my marathon but am looking forward to the challenge and the goal is to not be last but either way I'm doing it!!! I couldn't think of a better cause or reason to give it my all. I'm confident Tracey will be with me every step of the way helping me (mixed in with some laughing at me).
I'm honored to be running for her and for this cause so let the training begin. Any donation (and words of encouragement haha) would be greatly appreciated.
