My Story…
I am so honored to be running the 2022 Falmouth Road Race in memory of my Grampy and to support an organization as wonderful as Old Colony Hospice. My Grampy passed away in October 2021 following a battle with cancer. The end-of-life care he received from Old Colony Hospital was phenomenal. The staff treated him and us with such kindness and compassion. I will always remember the day our family gathered together with Old Colony staff members to see him be honored for his service in the United States Navy. They truly went above and beyond to provide the best care possible.
My Grampy was the most influential man in my life. He was more than just my grandfather- he was a father figure, a shoulder to lean on, and the one who I would turn to for help. I am so lucky to have known him and loved him. He is missed everyday but I am very excited to be running in a place he loved deeply- Falmouth and for a cause I know he would be passionate about.
Please consider helping me support an amazing organization and honor an amazing man- my Grampy!
