My Story…
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I will be running the Falmouth Road Race on August 21, 2022 on team Parkinson's Champions.
I applied to be a member of this team as my mom was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's. Although she is finding the combination of medication and the Boxing for Parkinson's program at 110 fitness to help, it impacts her whole life. There is a big unknown of how fast or how slow it will progress, as well as what areas it will impact the most.
By making a donation, you will help the Parkinson's Foundation provide resources, and support, as well as advocate and help improve care and increase access to quality of life programming.
Approximately 60,000 Americans are diagnosed with Parkinson's disease each year. Over 930,000 people in the US, and 10 million people worldwide live each day with PD. The number in the US is expected to grow to 1.2 million by 2030.
