Help Alessandra raise money

On August 21, I will be running the ASICS Falmouth Road Race to benefit Brigham and Women's Hospital for Pancreatic Cancer Research. I am running in loving memory of my father, Enrique Vasquez, who passed away this April after a year-long battle against stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. 

Despite our numerous attempts to find cures (i.e. immunotherapy, surgery, chemotherapy, clinical trials, and other efforts), we hit roadblocks through every avenue. We learned that pancreatic cancer is one of the hardest cancers to detect early and is typically found too late. I would love to help bring awareness and fundraise money for Pancreatic Cancer Research to help others suffering from this disease. 

At Brigham, we are finding new ways to predict, prevent, and treat the most challenging diseases of our time while delivering world-class care with a profoundly human touch. With so many breakthroughs within our reach, we know that the time to confront the world’s toughest medical challenges is now.
