My Story…
I am pleased to run with the Independence House team for the 2022 Falmouth Road Race.
Independence House is an important organization to our community. They provide free and confidential specialized services and programs for children (ages 5+), teens, adults and the later-in-life community who are survivors of, or impacted by, domestic or sexual violence.
For over 40 years, Independence House, Inc. has been sharing knowledge and skills with survivors in order for them to regain self-confidence, make informed decisions and initiate changes in their lives in order to live empowered, independently, and free from violence.
My goal is to raise $2,500 to help them in support of their mission. Funding will support:
- Domestic violence secure shelter services
- Family and individual counseling and prevention services for adults and children
- Funding for sexual assault prevention and counseling
- Mentors in Violence Prevention programs at area secondary schools
I'd love your support!
