My Story…
While I have personally been so lucky to live close to Boston when I needed access to specialists, there are a lot of families where that is not the case. This year, for fundraising efforts I have been partnered with Shayla. As her mom, Lisa, shared "At two years old this little girl has been through 12 heart caths and 2 open heart surgeries. She is such a tough little girl...I am beyond thankful for the support." For our staff, the board, and our volunteer runners, we appreciate any donation as it's all about helping families remove stress from their lives in the times of greatest need.

I'm so proud to be a member of TEAM HOSPITALITY HOMES in this year's Falmouth Road Race!
Your support means the world to me and will help continue to provide housing for patients and families traveling to Boston for critical medical treatment.
With the prohibitively expensive costs of local hotels- averaging $260 per night- and the lack of sufficient hospital- sponsored housing, many patients struggle with what to do, balancing these and other out-of-pocket expenses with the already high cost of responding to a complex or chronic illness.
