My Story…
I am running the Falmouth Road Race for the Cape Cod Times Needy Fund. The Needy Fund's mission is to provide urgent financial assistance for basic human needs to individuals and families residing on Cape Cod and the Islands who are experiencing temporary financial hardships. Every dollar donated helps make our neighbor’s wishes come true – the wish to stay in their own home, have food in their pantry, a reliable car to get to work, heat in the winter, medicine to heal, etc.

The Cape Cod Times Needy Fund, Inc. has been helping local residents since 1936. Our mission is to provide urgent financial assistance for basic human needs such as housing, food, medical needs, transportation and heat, to individuals and families residing on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket who are experiencing temporary financial hardships. Most of the money raised comes from Cape Cod individuals, families, businesses, clubs, civic organizations, schools and faith communities - "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" is what the Needy Fund is all about.
