I am so excited and honored to be running the 2022 Falmouth Road Race with the Herren Project! 

Like always, this year in Falmouth I will be running in loving memory of my dad, Mike McGoldrick, his twin brother and my uncle, Don, and so many other loved ones affected by addiction. 

I was first introduced to the Herren Project, when Chris Herren came to speak at my high school during my sophomore year. On the day of the assembly, I woke up to the news that my dad had passed away and lost his battle with addiction. Despite everything, I decided to go to school anyway. Looking back, I am so glad I made that decision. Hearing Chris speak on that day of all days, was nothing short of fate. What was one of the worst days of my life, ended up being a day that would bring so much love, support, and happiness back into my life for years to come. 

Over the past ten years, the Herren Project has introduced me to so many amazing people with powerful life stories, that continue to inspire me. I have had the opportunity to run multiple races on behalf of THP, speak alongside Chris and share my story, participate in camps and various fundraising events, and so much more. I can’t thank Chris and everyone at the Herren Project enough, for you all have been a huge part of my life journey. I am forever grateful. 

Not only do I dedicate this run and all my time with THP to my dad, but also to my friends and family who have supported me every step of the way.
