My Story…
Hi! I’m Marg and thanks to so many generous friends, families and anonymous supporters, we reached our first goal of $1,000 to donate to Independence House, Inc. I invite you to help me continue to raise much needed funds and help my team reach our $15,000 goal. Every little bit counts and I sincerely thank you for your support!
This Cape Cod local non-profit offers free and confidential specialized services and programs to survivors and those in need of support to heal from domestic and sexual violence.
As a former recipient of the services of Independence House I am grateful for the support that they provide and can attest to their care and support. Their free services, and empathetic, thoughtful, hard-working staff helped me to get where I am today. In running this year’s 50th Anniversary Falmouth Road Race, I hope we can help other survivors together.
The Falmouth Road Race is a 7-mile seacoast run. Each mile I would like to run for whomever you request me to run it for. (Take a look at the course map at https://bit.ly/FalmouthRoadRaceCourseMap if it helps you pick which mile you want– and don’t be afraid to share your mile with others! ). The very last mile will be for me and whoever wants to “run” it with me. You can submit your request to me however you would like - message me here or private message me on Facebook or send a dm on instagram @whitetrashbeautyqueen -- and I will work hard to the finish line in your/their honor!

Independence House, Inc. offers assistance to residents of all 15 towns on Cape Cod who are survivors, children of survivors, or non-offending family members of survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Independence House assistance is accessible at any of our four office locations; in all Cape Cod Probate and District Courts; at Falmouth Police Department; through numerous collaborations, and on the Independence House 24-hour uninterrupted hotline.
