My Story…
I was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 30 years old. While I may never know why I got cancer, I do believe environmental factors – birth control hormones, forever chemicals in our drinking water, etc. – played a role.
I've decided to run the Falmouth Road Race as a charity team member for the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition because I believe in their mission – finding the causes of breast cancer, so that it can be stopped before it starts.
MBCC is working on several initiatives, including a focus on elimination PFAS (forever chemicals) from food packaging, pesticides, consumer products and more.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal to support the important work being done by the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition. Learn more about this organization by visiting https://mbcc.org.
