Help Jason raise money

For participating in The 2022 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

My Story…

I'm beyond excited to be running the 2022 edition of the Falmouth Road Race, especially since I will be running to support a particularly important non-profit organizations, MSPCA-Angell.  Through its animal adoption program (including Nevins Farm),  veterinary hospital and services, spay and neuter programs, community outreach, and advocacy for both domestic and wild animals, MSPCA is the most significant animal welfare organization in Massachusetts.  Since its founding in 1868, the MSPCA-Angell has worked to relieve suffering, prevent cruelty, and develop a just and compassionate society.

Our personal connection to MSPCA-Angell came through our beloved Dodger, who received years of exceptional, compassionate care at Angell Medical Center in Boston for the eye diseases that blinded him in his later years.  The ophthalmologists at Angell demonstrated a deep understanding of the current standard of care, and were always happy to explain the disease progression, our treatment options, and the likely outcomes.

It is comforting to know that Angell Medical Center is just a short drive away if we ever need emergency care or specialty medical services for our current pups (Mac and Marty).6272d49f9e9fb.jpg

Justice and welfare for all animals is a deeply meaningful cause for my family, as we believe all living creatures deserve compassion, justice, and respect.  As Mahatma Gandhi famously said,

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."

Please consider making a donation to support MSPCA, to support all of the dedicated and critical work that they do.  Thank you!
