Big Brothers Big Sisters is an amazing organization that carefully matches adult mentors with children/young adults to foster lasting relationships. I was matched with my little sister Imani (who just turned 10) about a year and a half ago and we have both grown so much together throughout our relationship. We enjoy exploring Boston including the harborwalk, carousels, the aquarium, castle island, holiday markets, picnics on the beach, you name it!
Imani has had an extremely challenging past few months with her mom being diagnosed with breast cancer. I am running this race to show my support to Imani and her family, as well as show my gratitude to Big Brothers Big Sisters for establishing such a meaningful relationship. Please consider donating!
