My Story…
With the loss of my mother at age 2 from a car accident, EmpowerHer hit close to home as an organization to support over the last five years or so. Our family discovered EmpowerHer by chance, with the Owner, Cara, living down the street from my mother’s sister, Amie. Growing up motherless is something unique, but also gives the opportunity to find female influencers in other places. From family, colleagues, and friendships, a young girl or woman can survive without her mom, but it’s difficult. EmpowerHer provides mentorship, activities, and programming for motherless daughters, filling a void and providing female empowerment.
Please consider donating to help me reach my goal, as I run the Falmouth Road Race this summer back in my hometown, and where my mother died, Falmouth, MA.
