My Story…
Hi everyone,
I am excited to be participating in the Falmouth Road Race for the second time! Last year was my first time running Falmouth and I had the honor of raising money for Cops for Kids with Cancer. The entire experience was amazing and I am excited to be able to help again this year!
Working as a police officer on Cape Cod I am always looking for ways to give back to the community. I also enjoy running and am excited to also be able to combine my desire to give back and run by raising money for awesome organization.
Description
I am running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for Cops for Kids with Cancer. Cops for Kids with Cancer is an all-volunteer organization that raises funds for those directly involved in the care of children with cancer, with each family typically receiving $5,000. The goal of the organizations is to help the children and their caregivers through this most difficult crisis. In addition to the crushing emotional toll taken, there is a financial domino effect in having a child diagnosed with cancer.
