My Story…
It has always been a goal of mine to run the Falmouth Road Race and to be able to raise money for a charity while doing so, is even more meaningful. Heroes in Transition, is a 501 (c) 3, not-for-profit organization who recognizes those who have served or who are serving our country, by providing appropriate assistance to those with special needs in four key areas: Home modifications for disabled veterans, Transitional support group therapy, Financial support for service families, and Assistance dogs for veterans. Heroes In Transition, is a 501 (c) 3, not-for-profit organization. We recognize those who have served or who are serving our country, HIT provides assistance in 4 key areas:
- Transitional Support Groups, including equine therapy and couples retreats
- Financial support for service families
- Assistance dogs for veterans
- Home modifications
