My Story…
I'm honored this year to run the Falmouth Road Race on behalf of Wellstrong, a nonprofit organization whose fitness, wellness and mindfulness programs help members to grow physically, mentally, and spiritually promoting long term recovery.
As I approach my third year of continuous sobriety in my battle against alcoholism, Wellstrong has been paramount to my success. Wellstrong not only provides an affordable space with amazing programming, but also a community where all are welcome and made to feel a "part of".
I know finances are tight at the moment, but if any of you are able to donate to support this run, and more importantly, this incredible organization, it will go a long way towards making sure Wellstrong is able to reach more people in recovery like myself.
Side note- if anyone reads this and is struggling with addiction, PLEASE reach out. Recovery is possible and you are worth it.
