OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!
It is hard to believe but it has been about a year since I first wrote to many of you about one of my closest friends who is battling ALS. As you can imagine, it has been a difficult year for his family as the insidious disease progresses but our visits with he and and his wife have reinforced my commitment to run in the Falmouth Road Race again this year to help raise more money to end ALS. My younger daughter Lisa will also run this year to join in my efforts. Due to the generosity of many of you I was able to raise over $10,000 last year and am hoping to exceed that this year. I have continued to train throughout the year and am determined to run and finish again. For all who donated last year ALS ONE is very grateful.
I ask that if you are able to donate again or know of anyone else who might like to donate, it is for a wonderful cause and is most appreciated.
