My Story…
Hi everyone!
This year I’ll be running the Falmouth Road Race and raising money for Cops for Kids with Cancer in honor of my Mom.
As most of you know, my Mom fought a courageous 9 year battle with breast cancer. Falmouth is a special place for our family and my Mom even got to build her dream home right near the finish line.
As a mother of two young children and the wife of a Boston Police Officer, I am honored to be raising money for Cops for Kids with Cancer.
Description
I am running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for Cops for Kids with Cancer. Cops for Kids with Cancer is an all-volunteer organization that raises funds for those directly involved in the care of children with cancer, with each family typically receiving $5,000. The goal of the organizations is to help the children and their caregivers through this most difficult crisis. In addition to the crushing emotional toll taken, there is a financial domino effect in having a child diagnosed with cancer.
