I quick little back story as to why I am running this year...
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to meet the most incredible little girl who was born with Myelomeningocele, the most severe form of Spina Bifida. She radiated light, love, and happiness from a mile away! Her condition didn't once slow her down- she went in the pool (with her dad by side), she danced with the her friends, she joined in on the parachute fun and most importantly she did it all with a smile. This little girl did not ONCE complain about anything! She is the definition of a true warrior, someone who my daughters looked up to after they played with her! We are amazed at all her strength, grit and bravery she has at such a young age! GO VALERIE GIRL!
Description
I am proud to be running the 50th Annual Falmouth Road Race this year in support of the Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England. This tiny, but mighty, organization does incredible work providing resources, advocacy, education, and community for individuals and families living with Spina Bifida in all 6 New England states. It has made a huge impact on me and my family, and I greatly appreciate your generous support!
