Why I am running!
Dear Friends,
Molly and I are running the Falmouth Road Race this year to raise money for Smile Mass. Smile is a cause that is very dear to our family. This organization has helped raise money for handicapped-accessible equipment. Abby has been able to use strollers for the Falmouth Road Race and has been able to use swings at the playground in Sudbury.
Smile has been able to help many children enjoy activities that would not be possible without these funds. As many of you know Abby loves to spend time in Falmouth and her walking has declined quite a bit in the last few years. Smile has donated over 140 beach wheelchairs to public beaches throughout New England. They have created an equipment loaner program that allows families to borrow adapted equipment for a day, a week, or longer. Smile has also built an accessible beach rental in Truro, MA so that families can enjoy a vacation.
Please consider donating to this cause so that a child with a physical disability may enjoy activities that we take for granted.

Your support will help SMILE Mass continue to expand their programs. Here are just some of their accomplishments over the past 11 years:
~donated over 140 floating beach wheelchairs to public beaches throughout New England
~created an Equipment Loaner Program that allows families to borrow adapted equipment free of charge for a day, a week, or longer
~opened an accessible beach rental in Truro, MA (Cape Cod) so families can enjoy a beach vacation
~built several accessible playgrounds in metro-west area of Massachusetts
None of this could have been accomplished without support from individuals just like you!
