My Story…
Dear Family and Friends,
On August 21st, Phil and Alice along with sons, Nic and Cam Stathos, will be running the Falmouth Road Race as a part of the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation team.
Glen Doherty was one of the four Americans killed in a terror attack in Benghazi, Libya on 9/12/12. On September 11, 2012 insurgents attacked the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Glen fought hard throughout the night and saved many before succumbing to a mortar attack in the early hours of September 12th. Glen died serving with men he respected, protecting the freedoms we enjoy as Americans and doing something he loved. He is an American Hero.
Team Murphy Stathos will be raising funds for the GDMF Scholarship Fund to help Special Ops soldiers re-tool for new careers post military. Please support his memory and the many worthy scholars through this link
