Help Patty raise money

Hello Friends and Family,

 On August 21,  I am running the Falmouth Road Race in support of the United Way of Central Mass, and hope you will support me in reaching my goal of $2000 raised by making a donation.

In my 42 years working in the Worcester community, I saw  firsthand the results of the great work that UWCM supports, and I was proud to work at and with the agencies that were able to do so much for youth, girls and families because of the United Way.

YouthConnect  and the Women’s Initiative are two programs that are particularly special to me.  YouthConnect is a partnership  of several agencies, and provides recreational, educational and cultural programs for economically disadvantaged middle school age youth in the greater Worcester area. The Summer Program  includes transportation to multiple sites for arts, sports, fitness, swimming and other activities, along with dinner and a snack.

The Women’s Initiative also serves middle school aged girls’ programming throughout the school year. Programs aim to reduce violence, promote safety, and empower girls through mentoring, recreation, educational opportunities and financial literacy.
