My Story…
I am running the 7 mile Falmouth Road Race as a fundraiser for the Maddie’s Promise Foundation. Maddie’s Promise was created in honor of Maddie McCoy, my friend and teammate. Maddie passed away from rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of pediatric cancer in 2019. Her parents started the foundation to bring awareness and raise money to research cures for this and other rare forms of pediatric cancer. I’m really excited to contribute to this cause in honor of Maddie.
