My Story…
I very excited to run in The 2022 ASICS Falmouth Road Race with Parkinson’s Champions! As many of you know Parkinson’s is near and dear to my heart as my father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2017 and was passionate about finding a cure. We are raising money and awareness to benefit the Parkinson’s Foundation. I’m excited to support groundbreaking research while going the distance.
On Sunday, August 21st, I will run for two reasons: to honor my father, Don Smallwood, and to end Parkinson’s!
My goal is to raise $1750. Every dollar I raise will go toward the Parkinson’s Foundation mission to make life better for people with Parkinson’s disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure.
My dad was always there to support me, even running on the sidelines to cheer me on, at all of my races--now it's my turn to run for him! This run is for you, Dad!
