About NeighborWorks Housing Solutions
NHS is delighted to be participating in the Falmouth Road Race for a second year. Our team goal is to raise $5,000 which will directly support the programs and people we serve. Our mission is to help keep families in their homes, and we believe that everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home.
NHS provides:
-- 900 affordable homes throughout the South Shore and South Coast including: apartments, houses, studios, and communal living environments.
-- Emergency shelter for 12 families every night, who are fleeing domestic violence situations.
-- Funding to help families at risk of losing their housing.
-- Education for hundreds of future homebuyers, creating a new generation of homeowners who can build wealth and engage in their community.
-- Pathways for motivated families to move from their subsidized apartment to the purchase of their own home; and so much more!
