My Story…
Lets get our a$$ in gear and raise much needed funds!
CCRAN (Colorectal Cancer Resource & Action Network ) has been a huge support to me on my healing journey. There is power in the people - supporting each other and being educated at the same time.
Bumrun is a charity that raises awareness of colon cancer screening and prevention. For 10 years, we have organized 5K walk/run events and raised more than $600,000 net for various colon cancer charity organizations. Our funds go toward colon cancer research, enhancing patient support programs for families living with colon cancer, and raising awareness of colon cancer screening and prevention.
In addition to our listed charities, this year Bumrun has partnered with not for profit Colorectal Cancer Resource & Action Network (CCRAN), whose mission is to support, educate and advocate for colorectal cancer patients and their caregivers.
Canada has one of the highest colon cancer rates in the world, affecting 1 in 14 Canadians. But if everyone got screened, 90% of deaths could be prevented. Now that's worth running for!
