Black Cat Night Trail Run 5k

Here are the FYI’s for Saturday Night race:

-Race is held at Bluhm County Park 3855 S 1100 W, Westville, IN 46391

-Online sign ups end at 11:59 pm on Thursday October 13th.

-Race day and packet pick-up sign ups begin at 5:30 pm at the shelter. Race day fees are $35, check or Venmo are accepted for payment. We will have t-shirts available for race day sign ups

-Old school timing for this race you will receive a popsicle stick with a number on it as you finish. PLEASE turn in the stick to the volunteer at the shelter ASAP

-Race starts at 6:30 pm central time headlamps/flashlights are MANTORY. If you do not have a headlamp I have some for sale for $10 and includes the batteries.

-Course is marked with reflective flags and glow sticks. Directional sign with have a red light on them. We will have a “sweep” team picking up all course markings starting at 7:00 pm. If you get lost look for them as they will have reflective vests on.

-Course has roots, leaves and small branches on the trails. PLEASE be cautious as it is a night race and it is sometimes difficult to see the obstacles.

-We will have the award ceremony after all runners are in

-Snacks, water and Powerade will be available at the shelter after you finish.

-We will be collecting wish list items for the Feline Community Network please see attached list. Bring them to the race and I will deliver them.

-We should have extra race shirts after the race starts I will be selling them for $10 the proceeds go to the Feline Community Network.

-Old race shirts, hats and other items will be for sale for $5
