Whiskey Chaser Running Festival

5K • 10K • 20K Relay • Shot Mile

The 2022 Whiskey Chaser Running Festival trail races will take runners on a tour through the hilly terrain of Brown County, Indiana. Participants in this 100% trail running event will traverse the rugged grounds of the Hard Truth forest and should expect to meet some hard truths throughout the race — runners will be facing several steep hills, creek crossings, and all of the other fun things that come with getting out into nature.


20K Relay will start at 9 A.M.*

5K will start at 9:30 A.M.*

10K will start at 10 A.M*

Shot Mile will be at 11:30 A.M. at the Hard Truth pond.*

Join us for an after party on the terraces of Hard Truth to enjoy a post-race breakfast meal and live music! Every participant will get one drink ticket good for a Quaff ON! beer, Hard Truth cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage.


*If you are under 18 and you sign up by June 1st, you will get $5 off.*

Discount will be automatically applied.


Packet pickup will be held from 5-9 P.M. in the Hard Truth basement the night before on Friday, June 10th. You will also be able to pickup your packet the morning of the event.


Sign up by June 1st to guarantee a shirt in your size!


*NOTE: DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE HARD TRUTH PROPERTY*

In the event of extreme weather, there will be no refunds.

Shot Mile (21+) Closed

You may have heard of a beer mile, but here at Hard Truth, we do a shot mile! This course consists of three laps around the Hard Truth Hills pond and you'll be able to enjoy a mini-shot of Hard Truth Peanut Butter Whiskey after each lap! You must be 21 to sign up for this race. If you sign up for the Shot Mile, we will check your ID and give you a wristband when you pick up your packet.

  • Grab a few friends and come out for a relay! Each team member will run the 5K course one time. Come in costume and the best dressed team will receive a special prize! *Your team must consist of four people.*
