OdySea "Aquari-RUN": Waddle for Change 5K!
The OdySea "Aquari-RUN": Waddle for Change 5k is a fun and family-friendly event to support the OdySea Aquarium Foundation. As the non-profit partner of OdySea Aquarium, the Foundation seeks to educate, engage, enrich, and inspire all ages to conserve and protect our planet by supporting local educational programs and conservation work.
Your support will directly benefit the Association of Zoos and Aquariums SAFE (Saving Animals From Extinction) program, which helps protect the endangered African penguin. And because this year’s event is all about penguins, we encourage runners to wear their best ocean or penguin-themed running attire for the event!
OdySea's African Penguins will be on site at the event!

Mail-in and Virtual Run Registration
To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make checks payable to StartLine Racing.
Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? This year will feature an OdySea Aquari-Run Virtual. A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You can run your race at your pace wherever you like. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event shirt (if selected). Please note that your shirt and medal will be mailed out following the event on April 3, 2022. Prior to the event all virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.
Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate please contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com

Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups for the 5K only (race day participants only). Our age groups are the following:
- 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Over

Race Day Information
We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons.
No roller blades, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.
Race day registration will be available beginning at 6:30am at Arizona Boardwalk.
We accept cash, check and credit cards on race day.
Race day pricing:
- 5K Adults - $50
- 5K Kids - $40
- Penguin Waddle - $30
This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds or transfers due to weather.
Leashed pet friendly
The Penguin Waddle is an untimed half mile fun run. All participants receive a finisher's medal and a shirt. Parents who only want to accompany their children on the course do not need to register.
There will be a special appearance from the African Penguins at this event!

Packet Pickup Opportunities
You will have two opportunities to pick-up your race packet (bib, chip, event swag, etc):
- Saturday, April 2nd from 2:00 - 5:00pm at Arizona Boardwalk - near OdySea Aquarium ticket office (map)
- Arizona Boardwalk is located at 9500 E Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256
- Sunday, April 3rd starting at 6:30am at Arizona Boardwalk (event site)
