The Foundation for Blind Children is asking everyone to join us for the 2nd annual March for Sight!
This virtual challenge is asking that your Run, Walk or Bike for the Foundation for Blind Children in the month of March. When you join March for Sight you are transforming the lives of our students through your financial support and time advocating for our students. By walking, running or biking for the Foundation for Blind Children you are helping us envision a world where vision loss is a diagnosis not a disability.
What is a Virtual Challenge - You Ask?
Virtual events happen on your own schedule. If you decide to sign up for our virtual challenge, you simply record your time as you run, bike or walk in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, or in a park any time during our challenge period, March 1-31st. You have the entire month to add to your mileage or you can complete it in one day. It is completely up to you.
Who Can Participate in a Virtual Challenge?
Anyone! One of the great things about virtual challenges is that they allow for participation from different parts of the country and anywhere in the world. All levels of runners, walkers and cyclists are encouraged to sign up.

2022 Fundraising Campaign Details
Put your best foot forward and help raise money for Foundation for Blind Children. After you register for the race, be sure to send your personal fundraising link to all your family and friends. It can be completely customized by you.
All participants who raise at least $100 ($50 for Kids 12 & Under) or more by March 31st will receive a custom event medal and event shirt.

Virtual Challenge Information
We are doing a Virtual Run with a twist! If this is your first Virtual Challenge, it is simple - all you need to do is run, walk or bike anywhere in the world that you are. It could be around your neighborhood, on the treadmill, or even at another race/event you are already participating in. You must have the RunKeeper app downloaded before starting your virtual distance.
But what is the twist? You will have 31 days to complete your challenge (March 1 - 31st). Only those participants who complete the challenge will receive an event medal and shirt.
If you have raised at least $100 ($50 for Kids 12 & Under) or have completed the virtual challenge by March 31st then you will receive a custom event medal and event shirt. Your packet can be picked up at the March for Sight Open House on April 2nd (see below). If your packet is not picked up it will be mailed out the following week.

March for Sight Open House
All of the hard work of our participants will be celebrated and honored. Participants will be able to pick up their race shirts, medals and all other giveaways. That day we will be hosting food trucks at our campus for all who attend.
Saturday, April 2nd at Foundation for Blind Children (map) from 10:00am - 1:00pm
