NAMI stands for National Alliance on Mental Illness.

NAMI Sauk Area's goal is to use the 5K fundraiser to assist our group in raising awareness of the support families need when dealing with a loved one or friend who is living with a mental illness.

All funds from this event go directly to services NAMI Sauk Area provides, including facilitating training for CIT officers, helping pay for Family 2 Family manuals, training for instructors in NAMI based programs, family support group meetings, Youth Mental Health First Aid classes and instructional brochures.

Team Registration

Teams of 4 get special discounted pricing of $25 per person.
If all 4 team members do not sign up at the same time, the first team member must create a team code (see below).
Send this code to the other team members and they will be allowed to join the team during team registration.

Results

Online 2022 Results | 2015 to 2021 Results

On race day, after finishing you can check your time and place at the results kiosks on the registration tables. If you have any questions regarding timing and results, please email jeff@shazamracing.com.

Bag / Key Check

There will be a bag check in for race participants. You will find this under the tent by the swag bags and t-shirts. NAMI Sauk Area is NOT responsible for any items checked.

Pets & Strollers

Pets are not allowed on the race course during the race and warm-ups of the NAMI Sauk Area 5K.

Strollers are allowed with walkers in the race. Please allow the runners to lead the pack, followed by walkers, followed by walkers with strollers

Food Tent

A boxed lunch will be provided along with water and Gatorade to all participants. The food will be prepared and wrapped by a licensed restaurant kitchen.

Weather Plan

If there is severe weather during the race, please seek shelter in one of the pavilions in Sinnissippi Park or the Red Barn and Hoover Park.

If the race needs to be cancelled due to weather, it will be posted on the Facebook page (NAMI Sauk Area 5K) and an e-mail will be sent out to all registered participants.
