Run For 21

DO SOMETHING EXTRA - RUN FOR DOWN SYNDROME!

In honor of the third copy of the twenty-first chromosome, the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis invites you to run an in-person or virtual 5K (plus a little extra!) on June 5th to support the Down Syndrome Association. Run for 21 celebrates the amazing lives of people with Down syndrome. The race will coincide with the association's largest celebration of the year - Step Up for Down Syndrome. All proceeds will benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis! The run will start and end in the Upper Muny Parking Lot in Forest Park by the Step Up for Down Syndrome celebration. There will also be a virtual 3.21 mile option as well.

Race amenities include a race shirt, finisher medal and entry into the Step Up for Down Syndrome celebration, plus results managed by Fleet Feet.

Participants must register by April 22nd in order to guarantee they receive a shirt and all shirts will be available at the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis office on June 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Virtual participants have the option to pay $7 to have your shirt mailed to you.

The race will officially take place on June 5th, but if you can't run with us in-person on June 5th, you can submit your time between Friday, June 4th through Monday, June 7th, with virtual results becoming final on Tuesday, June 8th. All participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit their times on race week. *Only in-person participants are eligible for awards.

Packet Pickup

Packets can be picked up at the DSAGSL offices at 1300 Strassner Drive, St. Louis, MO 63144 on the following dates and times:

Thursday, 6/2/2022 - 9am-4pm

Friday, 6/3/2022 - 9am-4pm

Saturday, 6/4/2022 - 1pm-5pm

Packets can also be picked up on race morning at the race site beginning at 7am.


Awards

Finisher Medals for all participants.

Awards will be presented for the in-person 3.21 mile, to the top 3 overall male and females

and top 3 in the following male and female age groups:

12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
