JUNE 2022 UPDATES!
All travel restrictions, mask mandates and capacity limits are lifted across the entire province of Ontario. Bookings are going up and demand on accommodations will increase with each week, especially Friday and Saturday evenings. BOOK your vacation now if you can to avoid disappointment. NEW Canada Day weekend Mega Rides are available for serious cyclists wanting to celebrate our 150th Birthday (the country, not the company!) by riding 150 KM's on July 1st, 2nd or 3rd. It sounds impossible but its not and its actually called a Century Ride in cycling terminology (100 miles or approx 150 km's for those technically minded).
Niagara Cycling Tours is a new, multi-day Cycling Tour company located in both Niagara Falls (USA) and Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL), where all Tours start and finish. Novice riders can take that first leap forward and try their first-ever, multi-day, high-volume ride and enjoy fantastic scenery, flat safe roads, and exceptional culinary offerings in one of the world's most famous wine regions. Veteran cyclists will appreciate the carefully created routes, varied scenery, and intimate settings throughout 30 different towns, cities, and hamlets. Try an early-season Introductory 2-day tour, or challenge yourself and friends to a 4-day, 5-night tour and make your next covid-friendly vacation something to look forward to in these challenging times.
These are not wine tours, so if that is what you are looking for NOTL has many half-day and full-day options. Of course, on our Tours we will pass almost every vineyard in the region (!) so naturally, you can stop at many and do your own impression of a sommelier on two wheels. There are over 100 throughout the entire Niagara Region, BUT, Niagara Cycling Tours will showcase and immerse you into so many cool areas, hamlets, paths, trails, and off-beat roads that you will never think about Niagara the same. Of course, we will stop at Niagara Falls, and naturally starting and finishing in Niagara-on-the-Lake means you will gain a stronger appreciation of this historic old town like never before.
Cyclists of all levels are encouraged to train, register, and make your next vacation a covid friendly one, outside, with friends and new acquaintances all looking for that next fitness vacation challenge. Ride as little as 60-75 km/day on mostly flat routes, or, serious endurance athletes who fancy higher volume cycling can go as far as 150+ kms each all on new roads and paths previously never known.
