Memorial Day Weekend
The 2022 Great American River Run will take place on Saturday May 28th over Memorial Day weekend in downtown Memphis and along the Mississippi River.
Whether it's the half marathon, 10K, or 5K, sign up early for the lower registration fees. The longer you wait, the more you'll pay, so register early to save!
There is over $8,500 in cash prizes for the fastest runners! This year we've added the 10k and 5k in the dash for the cash.
You'll have a bit more pep in your step when you come across our in-course entertainment including Fireworks start, Post-race party with plenty of real food... and beer!
Everyone who registers will receive a race shirt, and when you cross the finish line you'll receive a beautiful medal.
But more than that, our event is about the EXPERIENCE! You'll start and finish the race on historic Beale Street. During the race, you'll run next to historical landmarks and downtown favorites like:

- St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
- The Peabody Hotel
- Blues Museum
- Central Station
- National Civil Rights Museum
- Rock N Soul Museum
- South Main
