Help Olenka raise money

I was born in Ukraine and spent my childhood living in a beautiful city of Lviv. I visited many other cities in Ukraine, including going to Crimea with my grandma almost every summer. I left for Canada when I was 13 years old to start a new life. But my homeland never left me. It remained in my heart forever and I miss it a lot. I miss my family, my friends, the sweet smelling air and the taste of fresh strawberries and raspberries from my grandmother's garden. I miss the warm sunny days, and the crisp, cold winters. I miss it all. And now this horrible war is destroying it all, killing innocent people, separating families, inflicting unbearable pain on millions. I was looking for ways to help raise some funds, and this is one way I felt it would be possible for me to do. I have been running on and off for about 5 years now. My goal has been to run a 5k in 35min (or under). I hope I can achieve this goal at this race. It would be very special to me.
